After Zoltan Feher had shortly visited Montenegro in May 2015, another Montenegro trip was undertaken from July 6 to July 10 by Lisi Haring, Kathi Jaksch, Michael Duda and Helmut Sattmann. One aim was to trace land snail tracks in Montenegro – especially of Montenegrina and Cochlostoma, another was to visit Vlado Pesic at Podgorica University to discuss on co-operations. We visited environments at and near the Mediterranean coast in the surroundings of Budva, Bar, the Bay of Kotor, continued to Lake Prespa, Podgorica, and the region of the Durmitor. We were rather impressed from the beauty of the landscape and the hospitality of the people in Montenegro. Lisi and Helmut plan another short visit to this charming country on occasion of the the Sixth International Symposium of Ecologists of Montenegro in Ulcinj. We are going to present our recent research and discuss further joint projects.
Some impressions can be found in our Gallery.
